After 6 months of being virtually unemployed and using this time to travel and take a break from the restrictions of a job and school, I will now revert back to over-working myself at two jobs, Cafe 976 and LCS as an office manager/sales rep.
There is no doubt I had an amazing last six months. Between the 3 cross-country roadtrips I took with my friends, Korea with my brothers, Alaska for my best friends wedding, a vacation and a short move to Hawaii, quick trips to San Francisco, New York, and Vegas, and living the dream in San Diego in between, I can truthfully say that I've accomplished a good amount of fun, and was definitely worth having to live in a closet :)
I know I made the right choice for myself, not going straight into a job after I graduated. I might have been able to put some money in the bank, but it would not have outweighed the adventures that I had! Finally though, after this temporary nomadic lifestyle, I'm ready to get my feet back on the ground (for a little while at least). Time to save some money and plan the next move!
P.S. Just wanted to mention that I was only able to accomplish any of this because of amazing friends who helped me out a lot, putting a roof over my head! I'll be forever grateful for it..thanks boys :)
